    Registered Nurse | Renal

    Critical Outputs

    • Effective cost management involves evaluating employee labour hours and managing debit and credit hours, minimising unnecessary stock wastage, and facilitating equipment maintenance.
    • Providing quality patient care includes identifying staff training needs, conducting daily care rounds, investigating complaints, and providing accurate information to patients and family members during hospitalization.
    • Effective risk management (SHEQ & infection control) requires monitoring preventative measures, complying with ISO requirements, and implementing infection control protocols.
    • Conducting effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders involves identifying doctor's preferences, understanding stakeholders' needs, and implementing these in the working environment.

    Requirements

    • Relevant degree or diploma in nursing is required.
    • Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) is essential.
    • Nursing experience in a renal environment is necessary.
    • Current registration with the relevant professional or regulatory body is required.
    • Understanding of the private healthcare industry and its challenges would be an advantage.
    • The ability to work flexi-hours and participate in a call system is required.
    • Computer proficiency and a valid driver's license are necessary.
