JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

STRATEGY IMPLEMENTATION
Strategic Plan implementation, Board participation, leading all operational teams within the organization.


SENIOR MANAGEMENT FUNCTION

Business Development and Sales:
Leading business development and sales functions, staff and related initiatives to grow revenue and reduce client concentration risk.


Contract Management:
Drafting or reviewing SLAs, NDAs, and various contracts for company suppliers, customers, and strategic partners.


Financial Management:
Monitoring monthly cashflow and expenditure, review of the company's expenditure towards cost optimization & reduction of any wasteful expenditure, overseeing the

Accountant's work outputs, developing & managing the company's budget, ensuring financial stability and profitability. Risk management strategies to safeguard the company assets and resources.


Alignment of Development/Engineering Outcomes:

Collaborating with the engineering team management, to ensure that all engineering activities and outcomes align with and serve the strategic objectives of the company.


Strategic HR Management:
Liaising with external HR Consultant/HR team regarding all HR matters.

Planning & implementing of ongoing staff engagement initiatives to ensure good employee/job fit and role clarity.


OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT

Management Team Chair:

Chairing weekly Team Leader Planning Meetings to drive deliverables related to Production, Repairs, Stock Control, Quality Control and Reporting.

Promoting interdepartmental cooperation to serve the shared goals of the company together with the HR team. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders including customers, suppliers, and partners.


Project Management:
High-level oversight of key contracts: project planning, delivery schedules, procurement, production and quality control activities for tender/contract-based deliverables. Ad-Hoc maintenance or facilities upgrades, systems upgrades, security, supplier/service provider selection, approval of expenditure etc.


Team Leader - OPS Team: Managing the company Accountant, Senior HR Officer, and Operations Manager.


Policies and Standard Operating Procedures:

Facilitating the drafting, reviewing, and implementation of all organizational policies and procedures towards ensuring efficiency, order, role clarity, etc.

Overseeing and optimizing all operational processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.


Procurement Support:
Reviewing and approval on all procurement purchase orders above minimum expenditure.

Hands on support for PCB procurement:
planning, performance, monitoring, expenditure, escalation, or critical path issues.


Company Administration:

Working together with the Accountant to ensure that the company is adequately insured against the necessary risks inclusive of goods in transit insurance.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Commercial/Management (MBA (preferred), Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment would be extremely advantageous. Minimum - 8 years experience managing a large engineering department or a manufacturing operation. Experience in Executive Board Management and related Committees; Proficiency and solid experience in Sales and Business development are critical.


Salary:
R50, R60,000.00 per month
