Description

Main Purpose:

To effectively manage and be accountable for all areas within the Sales Environment whilst ensuring best practices are conducted via CRM down to Oracle.

Maintain the best interest of Donaldson and its Customers.


Key Performance Areas

  • Responsible for the successful execution of sales & margin budgets within customer timelines
  • Building a structure and processes to support the Industrial Sales Model (Accredited Re-Sellers)
  • Strategic customer liaison, business incubator / new business enabler
  • Measurement and management of new inquiries, quotes generated & order intake per plan
  • CRM Sales Management
  • Effectively manage the sales team whilst ensuring (Walk in Inquiry, Building
  • Ensure DFSPL accredited installers, service agents & re-sellers are performing up to standards per
defined agreements including adhering to profitable sales and servicing niche

outlined markets


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Accountable for sales budgets and margins
  • Providing commercial & technical support to aftermarket + technical sales teams
  • Strategic key accounts business enabler, accelerating new business & nurture current business
  • Developing quality sales via our Accredited Re-Sellers, Strategic Key Acc, End Users and Niche markets defined
  • Guidance and management of the sales team
  • Develop robust plans and processes for efficient functioning of the sales team
  • Manage pipeline inquiries, leads from CRM
  • Other "ad-hoc" functions within the IAF division as required

Minimum Requirements

  • Mechanical Eng / Commercial Degree or Equivalent
  • At least 5year experience in commercial management sales (Filtration Industry Advantage)
  • Sound business acumen with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Good understanding of Project and contract management
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision
- making skill


  • Strong track record in managing technical sales team with proven records

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Edenvale, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

Commercial Sales: 5 years (required)

  • Management: 5 years (required)
