Qualified Electrician


Location:
Brackenfell


Salary:
R120 per hour (180 hours per month) plus overtime when required


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Conduct inspections and testing of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Provide guidance and support to apprentices and junior staff as needed.

Requirements:


  • Matric certificate.
  • Red Seal certification in electrical.
3. 3 to 5 years of practical experience in the electrical field.


  • Proficiency in single-phase electrical work, including single-phase wireman.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Preferably possess a public driver's permit (PDP).
  • Own reliable transportation.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of electrical systems and components.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and techniques.
