    About the Role:

    We are seeking an experienced Finance and Payroll Coordinator to join our team at Insight Recruitment.

    Job Description:

    The successful candidate will be responsible for managing debtors and creditors, preparing accurate management reports on Xero, submitting MEIBC reports, allocating payments for both payables and receivables in Xero, preparing weekly aged receivables reports, salaries (6) and wages (12) using VIP, and maintaining records for 12 wage staff and 6 salaried employees.

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Manage debtors and creditors to ensure timely payment and minimize bad debt
    • Prepare accurate management reports on Xero to provide insights into financial performance
    • Submit MEIBC reports to ensure compliance with labor laws
    • Allocate payments for both payables and receivables in Xero to ensure smooth cash flow
    • Prepare weekly aged receivables reports to identify potential issues
    • Process salaries (6) and wages (12) using VIP to ensure timely payment
    • Maintain records for 12 wage staff and 6 salaried employees to ensure accurate payroll processing

    Requirements:

    To be successful in this role, you will need:

    • Proficient in Xero and VIP accounting software
    • Strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis
    • Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable
    • Familiarity with biometric clocking systems for payroll tracking
