Retail Operations Manager - Coastal (Western Cape)

Overview

Cash Crusaders is a respected national franchised brand that has become a staple in the South African retail landscape.

We sell a diverse range of directly imported new goods under our own house brands, including electronic devices, DJ equipment, musical instruments, DIY tools, and small and large household appliances.

In addition to our new goods, we offer a vibrant exchange of quality second-hand items, providing a regulated and efficient environment for consumers to buy and sell. We also offer consumers access to secured loans.

Multi-site Management
Manage Retail Standards
Franchisee Relationship Management
Store Audits
Financial Management, Budgeting and EBITDA Growth
BUILD SUSTAINABLE STRATEGIES per store to improve performance and manage costs effectively
MANAGE AND TEST SERVICE LEVELS in each store, enhancing the customer experience

About the Position

Operations Managers oversee 10 to 15 stores within their area of responsibility, depending on seniority and experience. Their primary objective is to direct the daily operations of a cluster of stores to maximise profit and minimise costs. They lead the stores within their control to deliver set standards and comply with the Franchise System.

The following skills are required:

Matric / Grade 12
A minimum of 5 years Retail or Franchise experience
Fully competent in MS Office packages
Excellent organisational, numeric and administrative skills
Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively while working in a stressful environment
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels
Well groomed and professional
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Must have a flexible work approach
Must be able to work under pressure
Attention to detail
Analytical skills
Ability to effectively and professionally deal with clients
