Qualifications
A degree in Pharmacy
Registered by the relevant board in South Africa
At least two years experience in retail set up,
Duties
- Dispenses prescriptions and complying with legal requirements pertaining to pharmacy practice
- Manages key customer relationships
- Drives revenue, increase client penetration and strengthens partnerships.
- Provides input for sales strategy, targeting/forecasting and postsales reporting/upsell recommendations
- Manages inventory including ordering, selling, conducting stock takes and upskilling team members to deliver maximum yield on inventory.
- Partakes in the recruitment and selection cycle of staff members for their respective branch
- Trains and manages pharmacy support staff for the branch
- Manages expenses for the branch to ensure profitability
- Keeps statistical and financial records
- To be involved in organising or initiating marketing activities for the retail branch
- Liaises with medical aids, software administrators where necessary
- Liaises with the rest of the branch managers regarding price/deal adjustments from suppliers
- Meets with business partners when needed
- Develops training and development plans for the brach staff
- Conducts the performance management processes at branch level
- Supports management of disciplinary and grievance issues
- Maintains pharmacy records for accounting and HR purposes
- Depending on experince the incumbent may be required to oversee other branches and spearhead the opening of new outlets,
- And any other duties as delegated by management.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
