    Description

    Freight Forwarding Branch Manager

    We are seeking an experienced and driven leader to oversee the operations and profitability of our freight forwarding branch. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the freight forwarding industry and a deep understanding of industry regulations, operations, and best practices.

    Responsibilities:

    • Branch Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring all processes and procedures are followed to maintain efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Monitor and Manage Branch Performance: Monitor and manage branch performance, including financials, operational KPIs, and customer service standards.
    • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure the branch operates in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
    • Business Development and Client Management: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the branch's client base and increase revenue.

    Requirements:

    • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the freight forwarding industry.
    • Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business Management, Logistics, or a related field are preferred.

    Key Skills:

    • Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
    • Business Development and Client Relationship Management: Excellent business development and client relationship management skills.
    • Financial Management: Solid financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

    Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum
