JOB SUMMARY

  • Responsible for providing general support to the HR department and maintaining confidentiality throughout.

Key Responsibilities (duties are not limited to the list as there may be other factors and challenges that may be experienced in the duties):

  • 1.
Organize and maintain employee records

  • 2.
Update all internal databases - eg. training tracker, disciplinary records, performance appraisals, employee movement and BEE

  • 3.
Prepare HR documents such as employment contracts, extension, acknowledgement letters

  • 4.
Revise and draft company policies

  • 5.
Assist with employee queries on HR-related issues

  • 6.
Manage the full process in terms of BEE and EE data submission.

  • 7.
Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism at all times

  • 8.
Responsible for maintaining organized and up-to-date HR files

  • 9.
Responsible for UIF related queries, company registration and monthly employer's declaration to DOEL

  • 10.
Administer the payroll on Sage

  • 12.
Draft written and final warnings and assist managers and employees during the hearing process

  • 13.
Assist with WCA queries and medical insurance queries

  • 15.
Assist with the full training coordination as well as learnership management

  • 14.
Assist with any other Ad-hoc queries

Inherent Requirements

Required Competency
  • 1.
Degree/Diploma in HR or relevant field

  • 2.
Good organizational skills

  • 3.
Basic knowledge of labour legislations

  • 4.
Attention to detail

  • 5.
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadline

  • 6.
Hands - on experience in MS office

  • 7.
Experience on Sage
