Lindt & Sprüngli (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd (Lindt SA) started operations in May 2011 and forms part of the Lindt & Sprüngli group of companies.

With more than 150 employees, Lindt SA is based in Cape Town with strong regional presence in Johannesburg, Durban and Port Elizabeth and a network of 14 Lindt retail stores.

Today, quality chocolate products by Lindt & Sprüngli are made at 12 owned production sites in Europe and the USA.

The products are distributed by 28 subsidiary companies and branch offices, in around 500 Lindt shops and cafés, and also via a comprehensive network of more than 100 independent distributors around the globe.


Position Purpose
Responsible for providing assistance to Key Account & Sales Operations team. Areas of focus will include data, reports, forecasting, and promotions management and presentation assistance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Interact with Key accounts and sales operations teams to coordinate with internal stake holders supply chain, demand planning and marketing.
  • Responsibilities include nonpromotional forecast management, customer promotional deal preparations, new product & promotional compliance tracking and customer master data management.
  • Utilizing appropriate analytical reports and tools to provide daily support to sales managers and Key Accounts Managers.
  • Collect and report accurate and timely sales related data as required by the sales and management teams. Internal data via cognos, external data via customer portal, IRI and Lindt Mobile ( Georep).
  • Develop strong relationships internally to become the goto sales resource.
  • May be required to conduct store visits occasionally.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management and employees in a positive and effective manner.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team to communicate with team members and management on a daily basis
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and has energy to deliver within tight timelines
  • Ability to be a team player in a dynamic, fastpaced environment.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages
