Shrike Marine, a military electronics development and cable harnessing company based in Woodstock is looking for a production floor work scheduling manager to control output, and manage technicians productivity.

The job requires daily tracking of everything related to production; customer and work orders, materials, batching, work in progress, and completed assemblies, and detailed scheduling of all shop floor activities.

Responsible for supervising production floor, purchasing and storehouse staff and managing all HR-related issues such as training, leave, overtime, attendance, and absenteeism.

Not responsible for technical aspects of manufacturing including designs, assembly instructions, and quality control which fall under the Technical Manager.

The job entails:

Production Scheduling tracking everything by means of an inhouse database scanning system. Updating daily schedules using companydeveloped algorithms.
Technician Statistics weekly preparation and analysis of tech performance statistics.
HR administration for all production techs, purchasing and storehouse staff. Carrying out quarterly performance reviews.
Approving Purchase Orders and Petty Cash purchases up to limits delegated. Actively follows the status of materials and components ordered to fulfil Customer Orders. Ensures Purchasing Officer uses a reliable followup process.
Tracking deliveries of all materials ordered. Ensures pre

- and post-batching takes place accurately and as planned.
