HEAD GUIDE - 5 Star Game Lodge - Private Game Reserve Limpopo

Qualifications & Requirements:
Valid RSA Driver's License and PDP First Aid

FGASA Level - Field Guide Trails Guide

Firearm competency

Experience:

Previous experience in a Big 5 reserve and 5 star lodge necessary Minimum 3 years' experience in a Big 5 reserve

Experience in wildlife photography will be an advantage

Package

Salary is negotiable depending on qualification, experience and references Accommodation

Meals while on duty

21 days on7 days off work cycle 15 days annual leave

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Meticulous in all aspects of Managing the Guiding Department

Managing, Overseeing and Disciplining Staff in the Guiding Department Staff training and development

Assisting the marketing manager to get content for social media All administrative duties pertaining to the Guiding Department Overseeing and Management of the Portfolio's Fleet

Allocation of rangers and trackers to daily game drives Daily Game Drives & Bush walks

Hosting Duties

Allocation of Airport Transfers

Guest Activity and Airport Transfers Little paws program

Assistance around the lodge in other departments if needed Photographic safaris

Reporting to Group Operations Manager(s) and Head Office

Head guide (continued):
Attributes

Mature and responsible

Well spoken, well-groomed and presentable Strong leadership capabilities

Positive attitude and approach toward team work Hands on approach towards the guest experience Ability take initiative and problem solve

Excellent guest interaction skills

Passionate and pro-active towards personal growth and training Sober Habits

Salary:
R10,000.00 per month
