    Job Overview

    We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Debt Management Coordinator to join our team at Grace your HR needs. As a Creditors and Debtors Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable and payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in credit control and debt management. You will be expected to maintain accurate records, reconcile purchase orders to invoices, and ensure that all payments are accurately captured on a daily basis.

    You will also be responsible for contacting companies or individuals owing money and reporting back to management, as well as performing monthly supplier reconciliations to support all payments to approved suppliers.

    We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, who can effectively respond to queries from creditors and staff regarding payments. Your ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion is essential in this role.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain accurate records of payments and debts
    • Reconcile purchase orders to invoices
    • Contact companies or individuals owing money and report back to management
    • Perform monthly supplier reconciliations
    • Respond to queries from creditors and staff

    Requirements:

    • At least 3 years' experience as a Creditors and Debtors Clerk
    • Grade 12/Matric/NQF4
    • National Diploma in Accounting or bookkeeping course would be advantageous
    • Experience with invoicing, discounts, and credits would be advantageous
    • Sage Evolution background
