Job Title: Electronics Design Engineer - CAD Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join our team at Milkor Integrated Systems. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining component footprints and libraries accurately on ALTIUM, adhering to IPC standards and Milkor Standards.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for creating Loom Libraries in Capital Essentials harness schematics and harness drawings with Bill Of Materials. You will work closely with the design team to configuration control and update component library and upload completed projects. Additionally, you will calculate MTBF of electronic hardware designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain accurate component footprints and libraries on ALTIUM, adhering to IPC and Milkor Standards.
• Create Loom Libraries in Capital Essentials harness schematics and harness drawings with Bill Of Materials.
• Work closely with the design team to configuration control and update component library and upload completed projects.
• Calculate MTBF of electronic hardware designs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• National Higher Diploma or National Diploma in Electronic Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
• Proficiency in PCB CAD Packages, with experience in ALTIUM preferred.
• IPC J standards for PCB Layout and Design.
• IPC-WHMA-A-620 harness manufacturing standards.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience with ALTIUM and Capital Essentials is highly beneficial.
• Meticulous approach to documents and process control.
