Description

Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Assist in and compile quotes for installations, that includes: tenders, projects, small installations, system modifications and upgrades.
  • Follow up on the approval of quotes.
  • Obtain quotes from suppliers.
  • Contact clients and consultants to setup introduction/sales appointments for the sales team.
  • Load leads on the eWorks system.
  • Load new Projects and Jobs on the eWorks system.
  • Inform Admin of any new client that need to be loaded on our systems.
  • Schedule all installations as efficient and cost effective as possible.
  • Inform the client of work to be done, delays experienced or issues on site.
  • Order the required equipment for the installation and plan the availability of the equipment to the installation timeline.
  • Arrange for the collection of the equipment and if required the delivery to a site.
  • Get feedback from the installers daily on their progress and amend the installation schedule accordingly.
  • Keep the installation within quoted budget and timeline.
  • Once the installation is completed, arrange for the commissioning of the system.
  • The service department needs to be informed about a new service or additional time required due to modifications done.
  • The following documentation needs to be prepared on the completion of an installation.
  • Job Card
  • Installation Checklist
  • Panel Download
  • Installation, Commissioning, Acceptance/Training and or Modification Certificate
  • Zone and As-Fit drawings
  • Final Costings
  • Operational Manual and Handover Documentation
  • Draft the deposit invoice, if and when required, as well as the final invoice and issue such to the accounts department with all the required supporting documentation and information.
  • Be the contact person for all installation between the client, technicians, technical supervisors, support and company management.
  • All communication with respect to an installation will be done via the installation coordinator.
