purpose:


  • To provide expertise, advice and support through the implementation of the organisational information management strategy by facilitating the definition, design and implementation of information management processes, business and technical requirements and solutions. Information management encompasses information architecture management, metadata management, master and reference data management, data development management, business intelligence and data warehousing management, content, document and records management, data quality management, data storage and operations management and information security and data privacy management.

experience and qualifications:


  • Minimum Qualification
  • Relevant BSc or BCom degree


  • Preferred Qualification

  • Honours degree with focus in Information Systems
  • Experience 2 to 5 years related experience
    additional requirements:

responsibilities:


  • Prevent wastage, and on an ongoing basis identify process improvements in order to contain and reduce costs
  • Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships within FNB and/or across the FRG
  • Develop and implement best practice architecture and process strategy for Information Management specialization
  • Continuously assess own performance, seek timely and clear feedback and request training where appropriate
  • Compile reports that track progress and guide business to make informed decisions
  • Ensure compliance to legislative and audit requirements and adherence to relevant processes
  • Establish operational process to embed and maintain enterprise standard Information Management
  • Identify information management requirements
  • Participate in the develop of the enterprise architecture
  • Develop and manage key stakeholder relationships that enable achievement of operational objectives
  • Deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards
