Description

Responsibilities:


Hardware and Software Support:
Provide comprehensive support for IT hardware, including desktops, laptops, and medical devices.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Ensure the proper functioning of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Teams collaboration platform.


Remote Support Management:
Utilize Anydesk Remote support management to provide efficient and effective remote assistance to end-users.
Implement and manage remote support protocols to enhance troubleshooting and issue resolution.


LTE Router Knowledge:
Possess expertise in LTE router configuration and troubleshooting to maintain reliable and secure network connectivity.


Collaboration and Ecosystem Integration:
Work closely with various internal teams to understand their technology needs and provide tailored solutions.
Collaborate with external organizations to integrate technology seamlessly and enhance overall system interoperability.


Training and Documentation:
Conduct training sessions for end-users on the use of hardware and software systems.
Develop and maintain documentation for IT processes, troubleshooting guides, and best practices.


Security and Compliance:
Implement and enforce security measures to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.


Emergency Response:
Act as a point of contact during technology-related emergencies and participate in incident response activities.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT hardware support and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Teams administration.
  • Familiarity with Anydesk Remote support management.
  • Knowledge of LTE router configuration and management.
  • Basic understanding of medical machines and their integration with IT systems.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:


  • Experience in the healthcare or health solutions industry.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with health information systems and electronic medical records.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Cape Town,

Western Cape:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

  • Certificate (required)

License/Certification:

  • Comptia +, MS Certification (required)
