    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support the sales strategy and business plan for the region to meet targets.
    • Develop and manage strong relationships with brokers and internal partners.
    • Grow and profit from allocated broker portfolios.
    • Work with brokers to create a business plan for growth.
    • Identify new potential brokers and opportunities for growth.
    • Stay aware of competition and market information.
    • Facilitate the sales process and ensure brokers deal with the correct channels.
    • Convert quotes efficiently.
    • Build relationships with internal stakeholders to manage portfolios effectively.
    • Ensure compliance with internal governance controls for broker portfolios.
    • Analyze monthly figures down to broker level.
    • Report at regional meetings for Broker Services.
    • Manage a service consultant team.

    Requirements:

    • Matric qualification.
    • Insurance-related qualification or business degree (advantageous).
    • FAIS compliant (120 credits on NQF level 5).
    • Regulatory exam compliance.
    • At least 3 years personal lines experience and 5 years commercial experience in an operational environment managing a large portfolio of broker business.
    • Operational experience with regard to commercial business on external platforms.
    • 5 years sales experience in short-term insurance.
    • 5 years experience in maintaining and growing a profitable portfolio of commercial and personal insurance.
