Description

Employ Africa seeks a skilled Internal Communication Specialist to join its Corporate Marketing and Communications team in Sandton. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in internal communications, with expertise in developing and implementing effective communication strategies.

Main Responsibilities

Internal Processes

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own budget for internal communication activities, including developing and implementing internal communications strategies for various stakeholders.

Corporate Strategic Alignment

The internal communication specialist will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that communication strategies are aligned with corporate goals and objectives.

Stakeholder Focus

The ideal candidate will provide an efficient customer service to internal stakeholders, liaising with suppliers, agencies, and other stakeholders as needed.

Learning & Growth

The internal communication specialist will continuously research and find new ways of doing the work, taking ownership of their personal development plan and supporting the team through provision of professional and consistent service.

Requirements

Formal Qualifications

An advanced diploma or B degree in communications, journalism, or brand studies is required.

Years of Experience

The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of working experience in internal communications or communications, with significant exposure to all elements of the communications value chain.

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will have significant experience in the design, development, and implementation of internal communications strategies, as well as substantial experience in written media, copy editing, and publishing.
