    Description

    Database Administrator

    We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to ensure the availability and performance of our database systems consistent with required Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Daily Oracle Database administration across all Oracle environments.
    • Installation, configuration, and administration of production and non-production Oracle databases.
    • Monitoring of database systems for general health and performance issues, and proactive addressing of such issues.
    • Configuration and monitoring of Oracle backup jobs.
    • Performance of ad-hoc database backups and recovery.

    Requirements:

    • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle databases on Linux/UNIX platforms.
    • Deep understanding of Oracle 11g - 19c Database Internals and Administration.
    • 2+ years of Linux/UNIX basic administration.
    • 2+ years of MySQL experience.
    • Proficiency in automation scripting using UNIX and PowerShell.

    Compensation:

    $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
