    Description

    The HR Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our Human Resources department with its day-to-day operations. This position involves assisting with recruitment processes, maintaining employee records, supporting employee relations, and ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist with recruitment by posting job ads, organizing resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial phone screenings.
    • Support the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing employment documents and coordinating orientation sessions.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resources files, records, and documentation.
    • Answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refer more complex questions to higher-level HR staff.
    • Assist in the administration of HR policies, procedures, and programs.
    • Provide clerical support to the HR department such as copying, faxing, and organizing HR-related documents.
    • Participate in HR projects (e.g., help organize a job fair event).
    • Coordinate logistics for training sessions and meetings.

    Qualifications:

    • Relevant qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
    • Previous experience as an HR Assistant, HR Administrator, or similar role is advantageous.
    • Familiarity with HR software and computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular).
    • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.

    Skills:

    • Excellent administrative and clerical skills.
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
    • Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations is a plus.
    • Proactive and eager to learn and grow within the HR field.
