    Job Title: Operations Manager

    Job Grade: D2 Minimum Midpoint

    Salary Range: R700 491 - R824 107 per year

    Number of Positions: 1

    Main Purpose of the Job:

    The successful candidate will manage and oversee the implementation of operational activities in the province by providing technical support for Sedas business plan, policies, procedures, and processes.

    Key Performance Areas:

    1. Develop, oversee, and ensure the implementation of an integrated Provincial Operations plan and operational activities.
    2. Monitor and evaluate Provincial Operational Performance.
    3. Manage Infrastructure, including facilities, equipment, and resources.
    4. Ensure effective Financial, risk, and compliance management.

    Required Minimum Education:

    Candidates should hold a Matric (NQF Level 4) plus a B-Tech or Bachelor Degree (NQF Level 7) in Economics, Business Administration, Project Management, Operations Management, or Engineering. An Honours Degree (NQF Level 8) and/or Post Graduate Diploma (NQF Level 8) in these fields is an added advantage.

    Required Work Experience:

    1. A minimum of 6-8 years work experience in Operations Management.
    2. 2-3 years managerial experience.
    3. Project, quality, and risk management experience.
    4. Experience in implementing support strategies or continuous management of processes or change management.
    5. Exposure to small business enterprise development sector; stakeholder relations and information management systems.
    6. Demonstrated knowledge of business and management principles.

    9. Analytical: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    10. Business Acumen: Demonstrated understanding of business principles and practices.
    11. Problem-solving & Decision-making: Ability to make informed decisions and solve complex problems.
    12. Planning & Organising: Proven planning and organisational skills.
    13. Monitoring & Evaluation: Ability to monitor and evaluate performance.
    14. Performance Driven: Focus on delivering results and achieving targets.
