Assistant General Manager - Game Lodge

Luxury 4* game lodge located in Pilanesberg, North West.

The Assistant GM will play a vital role in leading the team to ensure guests have a seamless, personalized, and unforgettable safari experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Experience:
• Evaluate and enhance guest satisfaction by ensuring every guest is warmly welcomed and leaves with unique, memorable experiences.
• Collaborate with guides and management to create custom guest experiences (e.g., bush breakfasts, sunset boat rides, personalized game drives).
• Departmental Deputizations:
• Assume responsibility for the Food & Beverage Department, emphasizing restaurant and bar management skills.
• Support the Front Office Department in guest relations.
• Oversee the Housekeeping Department, focusing on room checks.
• Deputize the Maintenance Department.
• Lead staff training initiatives in collaboration with the HR Department.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• A tertiary qualification in hospitality or business management at NQF level 6.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Assistant General Manager or in lodge management.
• Strong management skills across all departments (Food/Beverage, Front office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Finance, Human Resources).
• A valid RSA ID and driver's license.
