Minimum requirements for the role:


  • Must have a relevant tertiary qualification
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Stock Reconciliations Clerk will be required
  • Must have previous experience in inventory control and exposure safety standards and procedures in a chemical environment
  • Good communication and writing skills, specifically in English and Afrikaans, with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders of all levels, are important
  • Must be computer literate with basic knowledge of Syspro
  • Providing daily assistance to the Depot and Agent personnel on stock queries.
  • Performing monthly sequence checks of all Retail warehouses.
  • Assisting with the reconciliation of stock variances on an ad hoc basis of warehouses with problems as and when requested by Depots.
  • Processing monthly stock charge outs to agents.
  • Processing stock adjustments, i.e. customer claims and charge on product, regional fund credits and trial products.
  • Assigning and maintaining accurate records and tracking of delivery note books to Depots.
  • Assisting with the ordering of new delivery note books for the Depots.
  • Providing assistance to Depots with month end procedures on.

  • Creating and maintaining stock codes on Syspro and.

  • Assisting Accountants with month end procedures, i.e. balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Maintaining SOPs for Depots.
  • Assisting Accounts Payable with POs and GRN matching.
  • Assisting with preparation of internal and external audits.
  • Assisting with resolution of internal and external audit queries raised by the auditors.
  • Facilitating stock audits and compilation of audit reports.
