    About the Role:

    The Financial Operations Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing effective operational processes and systems to ensure accurate data collection and comprehensive financial reporting. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience in cost accounting, financial reporting, and analysis.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Process Development: Establish effective workflows and implement robust processes and systems tailored to support our diverse operations.
    • Compliance and Adherence: Ensure consistent adherence to these processes and systems.
    • Inventory Management: Oversee and manage inventory control processes, ensuring accurate stock records and cost allocation.
    • Asset Tracking: Track and manage company assets, maintaining accurate records and ensuring financial compliance.
    • Staff Supervision: Supervise and mentor a team of administrative staff, guiding them to ensure operational efficiency and data accuracy.
    • Administrative Oversight: Monitor and oversee administrative functions within operational departments to maintain data accuracy and compliance.
    • Cost Analysis: Conduct detailed cost analysis and financial reporting on a monthly basis to support business decisions and profitability.
    • Technology Integration: Implement and support the use of tools and software for improved data capture and system efficiency.
    • Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports to senior management on operational costs, variances, and financial trends.

    Requirements:

    • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
    • Professional certification (e.g., CIMA, CPA) preferred.
    • At least 5 years of experience as a cost accountant.
    • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, financial reporting, and analysis.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
    • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Eastern Cape and Northern Cape.

    Salary:

    R750,000 - R900,000 per annum based on experience and qualifications.

    Location:

    Eastern Cape and Northern Cape.

    Languages:

    Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
