    Job Title:

    Regional Operations Manager

    Summary:

    A highly experienced Senior Manager with 5+ years of experience in senior management roles is required to oversee regional operations and drive commercially focused business vision. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial and operational management, supply chain, logistics, and refined metal exports in Africa.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Achieve regional goals and revenue targets by overseeing daily operations and managing regional budget and costs.
    • Ensure compliance to Customs and SARS requirements and collaborate with Operations and Commercial teams to drive synergies.
    • Liaise with external stakeholders, rail & ports, to ensure effective and efficient supply chain.
    • Develop performance objectives for the regional team and prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    • Design regional strategy and set goals for growth while driving a culture of operational excellence.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or relevant field.
    • Minimum 5 years of general management experience at Senior Management level.
    • Proven experience in commercial and operational management, supply chain, logistics, and refined metal exports in Africa.

    Competencies:

    • Strategic management competencies to shape and refocus the business for growth.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to negotiate with Trade Unions / IR matters.
    • Functional knowledge and accomplished in improving business results and performance.
    • Leadership, problem analysis, risk management, self-starter, creative thinking, and resilience.
