- Day-to-day Production Planning and input into MRP System
- Plan and schedule workflow for all departments
- Analyse production specification and plant capacity
- Preparation of production reports
- Monitor production plan execution and track production performances
- Assist in continuous improvement projects
- National Diploma or B-Tech in Logistics/Mechanical or Industrial Engineering required.
- Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies advantageous
- 5 - 6 years automotive experience is essential
- MRP system experience is essential
- Production planning knowledge would be advantageous
- Good understanding of ISO 9001,14001 and IATF 16949 elements
- Ability to apply problem solving techniques
- Must be assertive and a good communicator with excellent follow through and precision reporting capabilities
