    Description

    Job Summary

    The Vacancy Control Specialist will collaborate closely with Investor Relations and operations to develop a forward-looking program that focuses on the next 24 months in the shopping center. This role requires a deep understanding of retail sales opportunities and the ability to optimize tenant mix initiatives within the property.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Poorly Matched Tenant Mix Initiatives: Identify and address poorly matched tenant mix initiatives within the property to maximize retail sales opportunities.
    2. Vacancy Control Program: Develop and implement a vacancy control program that focuses on the next 24 months in the shopping center, minimizing downtime and maintaining income and outgoings at reasonable levels.
    3. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with Investor Relations and operations to set strategies for newly identified issues each month, extending the program for a further 24 months.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's or Master's Degree from a top university; CFA or equivalent credentials are a plus.
    • Experience articulating complex systematic investment strategies in a straightforward, comprehensible manner.
    • Verifying compliance of critical networking equipment with policies and requirements.
    • Experience working with sophisticated institutional investors and managing day-to-day relationships.
    • Providing requirements and guidance for internal network separation/segmentation and access control.

    Compensation

    R33,000 per annum.
