    Job Description
    We are hiring a new Payroll Administrator for our Rock Star team

    Daily tasks will include:
    • Managing end-to-end payroll process for multiple clients, including calculating employee wages, deductions, and benefits.
    • Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, including the distribution of payslips and reports
    • Verifying and reconciling timekeeping records, attendance, and leave balances.
    • Processing all payroll related changes.
    • Maintaining accurate employee payroll records, updates, and changes.
    • Communicating with clients to obtain necessary payroll information and resolving any payroll-related inquiries or discrepancies.
    • Preparing payroll-related taxes including EMP201 and EMP501
    • Staying up-to-date with payroll regulations and tax laws to ensure compliance.
    • Assisting with government regulations
    • Processing WCA, COIDA claims and ROE
    • UIF registrations and completing salary schedules
    • Collaborating with other teams to ensure accurate data exchange and reporting.


    Requirements

    • Matric
    • 2 - 3 years proven experience in a similar role
    • Understanding of tax regulations in relation to payroll
    • Sound understanding and knowledge of COIDA, UIF, SDL and SARS payroll regulations and filing.
    • Proficiency in payroll software (preferably SimplePay) and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.
    • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
