PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.
Oversees and runs daily operations of the restaurant;
2.
Prioritizes, schedules, assigns, trains, reviews and evaluates assigned restaurant staff and supervisors;
3.
Participates with operation management team to originate, plan, develop and implement long and short term goals;
4.
Monitors integrity of restaurant operation and the provision of services;
5.
Delegates and oversees bartending, kitchen supervision and table service duties;
6.
Prepares annual restaurant budget estimates, requests and final budget proposal;
7.
Oversees menu planning, pricing and banquet operations;
8.
Develops and implements advertising and marketing strategies for restaurant and banquet services;
9.
Resolves routine problems encountered in performance of work assignments;
10.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Keeping the restaurant in compliance with health codes, etc.

Ensures guest service meets company standards and customer satisfaction is maintained

Respond to customer complaints, taking appropriate action to solve the problem
19.
Staff, train and develop floor managers and hourly employees through orientations, ongoing feedback and by conducting performance reviews
20.
Closely monitor the safety of the restaurant guests and staff through execution of food safety and restaurant safety standards and guidelines
21.
Lead all financial areas including sales growth, cost management, and profit growth
22.
Have a good working knowledge of all equipment and efficiently takes care of preventative maintenance
23.
Maintain Budget and work within its restrictions
24.
Staff attendants registers - control and monitor
25.
Do cash up's and take control of all floats and take responsibility
26.
Stock control, beverage cost and implementation
27.
Train and be knowledgeable on QA standards.
28.
Perform administrative duties as required of you
General Activities
Identify and estimate quantities of foods, beverages, and supplies to be ordered.
Maintain relationships with customers and staff.
Update and use job-related knowledge.
Schedule staff work hours and activities.
Evaluate health and safety practices against standards.
Organize, plan, and prioritize.
Make decisions and solve problems concerning menus and staff.
Judge the quality of food, preparation, and job applicants.
Process and analyse information when scheduling and budgeting.
Record information about inventory and health practices.
Handle food, utensils, and bookkeeping materials.
Monitor food preparation and cleaning methods.
Implement ideas or products.
Get information from customers, employees, and inventory records.
Inspect equipment and food deliveries.
Monitor and oversee purchases, menus, staff, and payroll.
You may at times be asked by Directors/senior management to perform additional tasks beyond this scope and within reason
Salary:
R8, R12,000.00 per month
