Job Purpose:
- Inbound & Outbound supply planning activities to ensure the business strategy, short
- Provide execution phase, and longterm supply plans to manufacturing facility.
- Ensures planning process optimizes finished goods availability to achieve customer service metrics (OTIF) whilst maximizing inventory turns and minimizing costs (OWC & SLOB management).
- Support exception resolution related to supply gaps i.e. material & capacity constraints.
- Interface to demand planning, customer services, logistics, manufacturing & Intercompany transfers.
- Facilitating GKM, MDI, S&OE, and leading site SMR.
Key Accountabilities:
Planning:
- Translate demand forecast to supply plan to satisfy customer service (OTIF) production activities at manufacturing site.
SAP experience:
- Daily MRP for analysis of nett requirements.
- Create production plan in weekly buckets.
- Analysis of component shortages for escalation and resolve to materials planning
- Create and manage supplier purchase orders.
- Track adherence to plan to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Manage MRP exceptions daily/ weekly
- Manage and review stock transfer orders for outbound/ inbound intercompany demand.
Cost:
- Balance inventory according to replenishment policies and demand forecast at optimal levels to meet customer demand.
- Reduce and prevent slow and obsolete inventory.
Analytical:
- Data analysis to correct and prevent over/under stocking short and longterm inventory planning, out of stock management.
- Lead monthly SLOB reviews
- Balance demand and supply with an understanding of site capacity lead monthly site supply reviews and make proposals for capacity gap closing.
- Root cause analysis for customer service failures drive improvement plans.
- Strong excel capability.
- Provide reports as needed.
Continuous improvement:
- Data management: review and maintenance of master data in accordance with inventory replenishment policies & MRP parameters i.e. MTS/ MTO, lead times, sourcing points etc
- Support implementation of respective CI projects, and the practice of process improvements in alignment with the company grow and deliver strategy.
- Strong relationship building with key stakeholders demand planning, manufacturing, logistics & customer service.
Experience:
- University Graduate or National diploma with APICS CPIM certification.
- Min of 3 years Production, supply & inventory planning experience.
- SAP knowledge and experience is required.
- Strong in Excel.
