    Position Summary

    The Sales Executive is a critical role responsible for achieving sales in an assigned territory, primarily within the Education sector, Government, Healthcare, Private and Corporate entities.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    1. Service customers by selling products and meeting customer needs through building long-standing relationships.
    2. Servicing existing accounts, obtaining orders, and establishing new accounts by planning and organizing a daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales partners.
    3. Submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature/brochures.
    4. The ability to problem-solve and implement out-of-the-box thinking to resolve customer needs and challenges.
    5. Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as weekly work plans, and monthly territory analyses.
    6. Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
    7. Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
    8. Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
    9. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational training sessions, reviewing Tender publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional events.
    10. Maintaining records on area and customer sales.
    11. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
    12. Conducting various training sessions to partners to keep product relevant.
    13. Compiling quotations and proposals in a professional manner.
    14. Planning country trips strategically when needed.

    Qualifications

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

    Education/Experience

    • 5 years of outbound business development and/or sales experience.
    • Previous Office Automation sales would be beneficial.
    • Familiarity with office software.
    • Hardware and Software Centric.
    • Computer/Technical Skills.

    Required Skills

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
    • Excellent verbal communications, spelling and grammar;
    • Good operational computing skill (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, Internet Browsers);
    • Able to work with teammates to ensure seamless customer experience;
    • Confident, self-starter who works well independently;
    • Possesses exceptional attention to detail and is committed to delivering quality output;
    • Methodical, organized and accurate, with a very good attention to detail;
    • Customer focused approach;
    • Able to quickly learn new technology applications and company products.

    Remuneration

    Market-related salary with commission and benefits.
