    Key Areas of Responsibility

    The incumbent will provide secretarial, administrative and logistical support to the organisation.

    • Secretarial Support: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, prepare meeting minutes and handle correspondence.
    • Administrative Support: Provide day-to-day administrative assistance, manage files and documents, and perform general office duties.
    • Logistical Support: Coordinate events, arrange travel and accommodations, and make reservations as necessary.

    Desired Experience and Qualifications

    We are seeking a candidate with a strong understanding of organisational policies and procedures.

    Competency Requirements:

    • Knowledge and understanding of public service regulations and the Public Finance Management Act.
    • Clear understanding of office administration activities and processes.

    Key Skills:

    • Minutes taking and recording keeping skills.
    • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet applications.
    • Strong event coordination and planning skills.
    • Effective document and file management.
    • Ability to plan and organise tasks efficiently.

    Personal Attributes:

    • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Initiative and ability to work independently.
    • Strong team player with excellent interaction skills.
    • Able to multitask and manage multiple priorities.

    Qualifications:

    • National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
    • Relevant experience in HR services, recruitment and selection.
