Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
Lead and coordinate site teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
Prepare project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, and monitor progress against targets.
Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction, and provide suitable solutions.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards and quality requirements.
Manage the procurement of construction materials and services, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project budgets.
Prepare and present project progress reports to clients and senior management, highlighting key milestones and risks.
Ensure effective communication and collaboration with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Site Agent, with a proven track record of managing complex construction projects.
Registration with relevant professional bodies, such as ECSA or SACPCMP.
Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide site teams.
Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
