Key Responsibilities:

  • Championing strategic B-BBEE initiatives that improve on transformation and B-BBEE
  • Management of the annual B-BBEE verification process
  • To address gaps identified in the annual B-BBEE verification process
  • Compliance with the legislative framework governing B-BBEE
  • Regular reporting to management on the verification process and outcome.
  • Complete all necessary administration for the verification process and preparation
  • Update the B-BBEE scorecard on monthly basis after receipt of all evidence from relevant stakeholders.
  • Compiling the required evidence for the verification process
  • Proper record keeping and database/ data management, data collation for the verification process.
  • Collect and collate all Financial Statements and Invoices for the procurement/ verification process.
  • Update all Skills Development training statistics
  • Obtain all supplier B-BBEE Certificates and ensure these are updated.
  • Receive and store all Socio Economic Development letters from recipients
  • Ensure all Enterprise Development invoices and attendance registers for training are keep on file Key Outcomes Championing strategic B-BBEE initiatives that improve on transformation and B-BBEE
  • Ownership: To continue to monitor and manage this pillar in terms of verification requirements and ensure the required records are maintained.
  • Management Control: To continue to monitor, manage and improve on this pillar in terms of verification requirements and ensure the required records are maintained.
  • Employment Equity and Skills: To drive the strategy of EE and skills development in collaboration with HR, in line with targets and ensuring records are maintained.
  • Procurement: To regulate and coordinate the end to end process of procurement for SAHL in line with the Procurement Policy and transformation goals.

Supplier Development:

To develop a strategy for this pillar in line with our B-BBEE goals and to drive the achievement of this.


  • Social: Collaborating with the relevant committee(s) on the company's SED strategy as well as developing the annual CSR programme with transformation considerations. Management of the annual B-BBEE verification process
  • Ensure SAHL entities readiness for the verification process.
  • Coordination of the collect and submit all required data.
  • Manage the relationship with the agency.
  • Regular reporting to management on the verification process and outcome.

  • Develop scenarios to close gaps and drive transformation
  • Meet with relevant stakeholders to address gaps in each area.
  • Report on the progress of this process to management Compliance with the legislative framework governing B-BBEE
  • To ensure that SAHL entities adheres all B-BBEE legislative requirements, reporting and related rules, policies and processes.
  • To keep abreast of all legislative changes and or amendments.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
R30, R35,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Durban, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Diploma (required)

Experience:


  • B-

BBEE:
5 years (preferred)
Amended Financial Services Sector Code: 2 years (preferred)
