Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Dispatch Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing dispatch operations within the FMCG manufacturing industry.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure the day-to-day management of the dispatch area is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations, inventory controls, and FIFO principles.
• Manage and motivate a team of drivers, loaders, stock coordinators, and general workers to adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Monitor and control stock volumes, conduct weekly stock takes, and guarantee accurate loading and dispatching of correct quantities and descriptions of stock.
• Review variance reports from the weighbridge to optimize operations.
• Plan and coordinate daily truck routes for efficient logistics.

Key Requirements

A minimum of 2 years' experience in a dispatch role within the FMCG manufacturing industry is essential.

Owning transport is mandatory.

The ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure is crucial.

Strong leadership, motivational, and directive skills are required to effectively lead the team.
