REQUIREMENTS

  • Matric plus relevant qualifications
  • Communication skills in English and Afrikaans
  • Good financial acumen and planning skills
  • Minimum 5 years experience as an Operations Manager
  • Experience managing a team of minimum 20 employees
  • Excellent problemsolving skills
  • Ability to think on your feet to solve problems that occur in day to day operations
  • Continually striving to improve systems
  • Passionate about the best service delivery principles

DUTIES

  • Take ownership of service delivery and plan and complete daily action plans for the operations team
  • Extensive liaison with clients
  • Evaluate systems and continually look for improvements
  • Communicate job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions of the team
  • Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews
  • Implement quality and the right customerservice standards
  • Resolve problems that occur and find solutions timeously
  • Manage the drivers and plan their schedules
  • Forecast requirements
  • Prepare budgets and schedule expenditures, analyze variances and initiate corrective actions
  • Develop operations systems that work effectively and smoothly
  • Analyse and improve organizational process and workflow
  • Implement changes to improve systems
