    We are a business-to-business publishing house focused on creating high-quality trade publications.

    Your Role

    We're looking for a detail-oriented and talented Journalist (B2B) to join our team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Research and Reporting: Investigate and report on current news, trends, and developments impacting various niche industries within the B2B sector.
    • Interviewing: Conduct interviews with industry professionals, stakeholders, and key figures to gather insights and quotes for news articles.
    • Writing: Produce well-written, compelling news stories tailored to the specific audience of each publication.
    • Industry Knowledge: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the industries covered, including key regulations, market trends, and emerging technologies within freight, travel, energy, and ICT engineering.
    • Data Interpretation: Analyze and interpret industry reports, technical documents, and data to produce accurate, insightful articles.
    • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with editors, fellow writers, and industry professionals, demonstrating strong collaboration and teamwork abilities to ensure high-quality content.
    • Meeting Deadlines: Work efficiently to meet daily and weekly deadlines with precision and attention to detail.

    Requirements:

    • A degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
    • Proven experience in journalism or a related field, with a portfolio showcasing published articles.
    • Applications are welcome from writers with varying levels of experience who can deliver impactful B2B news stories.
    • The ability to understand and report on niche industries (freight, travel, tourism, energy).
    • An excellent command of the English language.
    • A high attention to detail with the ability to self-edit effectively.
    • Comfortable with networking and building relationships within various industries.
    • The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Owning a car and holding a valid driving license, as travel will be required for interviews and industry events.
