Description

US-based client seeks dedicated Instructional Designer for Education team. In this role, you will design lessons, activities, and curriculums for clients, creating cutting-edge content that educates students.

Key Responsibilities

Ideate and create innovative, impactful activities and lessons for students.
Develop clear, concise, and helpful instructional materials for teachers.
Integrate constructivist, project-based learning pedagogies into design.
Build scope and sequence of long-term units and curriculum as needed.
Articulate learning objectives from clients' needs and wants.
Identify physical, hands-on materials as needed for projects.

Collaboration with Subject Matter Experts

Work closely with SMEs to gather and apply specialized knowledge.
Translate complex topics into clear, engaging, and accessible educational content.
Research subjects and experts as needed, using information effectively.

Client Relationship Management

Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear and professional communication.
Understand client needs and expectations, ensuring deliverables meet project goals.
Provide regular edits and updates to incorporate client feedback into designs.

Writing and Quality Assurance

Draft and edit instructional content with attention to clarity, tone, and educational effectiveness.
Ensure content is accurate, consistent, and in alignment with project specifications.

Project Management

Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to coordinate resources and workflows.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field (Master's preferred).
At least 3 years of experience in instructional design or curriculum development for K-12 students.
Experience with STEM, CTE, and career education curriculum writing or teaching.
