    Cosmetic Raw Material Sourcing Expert

    Performability Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Cosmetic Raw Material Sourcing Expert to join our client's team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring raw materials for the cosmetic manufacturing process.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Sources and places orders for raw materials, equipment, and packaging in compliance with quality and safety standards.
    • Negotiates favourable terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost-effective pricing and timely delivery.
    • Establishes and maintains strong relationships with suppliers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
    • Monitors supplier performance by analysing feedback from Quality Control and Goods Receiving departments.
    • Processes SYSPRO transactions, including requisitions, purchase orders, and MRP.
    • Communicates effectively with internal and external customers.
    • Responds to internal customer requirements to support departmental objectives.
    • Ensures on-time deliveries and maintains minimum dock-to-stock levels.
    • Optimises stock levels and minimises stockouts by monitoring inventory levels of raw materials.
    • Ensures stock rotation is within agreed limits.
    • Follows up on supplier complaints and resolves issues promptly.
    • Conducts cost analysis to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and optimise procurement processes.
    • Compiles monthly reports to track performance and recommend improvements.
    • Stays updated on market trends, pricing fluctuations, and emerging raw material technologies.
    • Ensures compliance with relevant industry regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in raw materials procurement within the manufacturing industry.
    • Familiarity with import/export procedures.
    • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in using procurement software and systems.
    • Knowledge of cosmetic industry regulations and quality standards.
