Job Purpose:


BIL seeks to employ an Insurance Administrator who will ensure that all processing and filing of documents for all the customers are done in accordance with the BidvestIL Standard Operating Procedures.

Manage KPI performance reports, handeling of all insurance job card and costing as well as coordinating costing of PDI's


Qualifications & Experience:

Senior certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent
Valid Code 08 Drivers License

A qualification in administration will be an added advantage

  • 3 years experience in related field (Workshop experience, is an added advantage)
Computer Literate in Microsoft Office Packages with strong administrative skills
2+ years experience in insurance claims.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Administration
  • Costing of all Insurance job cards and liasing with customers and client thereon
  • All filling must be filled timeously and accurately
  • Keeping record of all PDI's in the Workshop & Invoice all PDI's
  • Ensure that recons are done timeously and correctly
  • Assisting with forwarding instructions for vehicle repairs as well as to load all sublet orders
  • Receiving vehicle back into VDC and release holds
  • Open and invoicing all fuel job cards
  • Assist with add on's & plant WIP reports
  • Assisting in opening of PDI's job cards timeously
  • Assist with full frontline service advisor functions if and when required to
  • Assisting with AUC job cards if available
  • Assisting with Motor plan and warranty job card if available
  • Assisting with the submition claims in time and follow up if payment has been made with Motorplan & Warranty assistant
  • Assisting with service and repair job cards for the workshop
  • Assisting with the organization of courier for workshop and body shop if and when required
  • Ensure that weekly completed and outstanding tasks are reported to Senior warranty officer timeously
  • Assist with all administrative functions within the workshop as and when required
  • Ensure processes and procedures are in line with the customer expectation
  • Analyse variances on reports and resolve queries daily
  • Do add on's of new jobs onto job cards if required
  • Tracking vehicles in the yard and allocation of parking for finished vehicles
  • Asssisting with the repair and renewal of rims
  • Facilitating the repair of seats and/or vehicles interior
  • Receipt of invoices from service providers and loading them on sublets on job cards
  • Reporting of anomalies picked up and manage the resolving thereof
