    Electrical and Railway Signalling Job Opportunity

    We are seeking a qualified Electrician with passion and willingness to grow within our organization. The ideal candidate will reside in the Germiston, East Rand Region or be willing to relocate for work-related travel.

    Job Requirements:

    • At least 2 years' experience in the electrical industry after receiving an Electrical Trade Test Certificate
    • N6 qualification with an Electrical Trade Test Certificate issued by the Department of Higher Education and Training or the Department of Labor

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Install and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings
    2. Maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems
    3. Read technical diagrams and blueprints
    4. Perform power and lights restoration
    5. Conduct general electrical maintenance
    6. Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components
    7. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
    8. Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures
    9. Adhere to National Electrical Code state and local building regulations
    10. Circuit breaker corrective maintenance
    11. Knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems and traffic signals
    12. Identify hazards and defects in electrical installations and components
    13. Respond to and resolve emergency maintenance issues
    14. Familiarity with various test equipment

    Salary:

    R 250,000 - R 300,000 per annum
