    KEY RESULT AREAS:
    • Comprehend the operational dynamics of distributors: distribution frameworks, organizational structure, inventory management, cash flow oversight, etc.
    • Possess a solid understanding of the agricultural sector: general agronomy, farming practices, challenges encountered within the industry, etc.
    Duties & Responsibilities
    Job Function:
    • Oversees profit and loss in the designated territory.
    • Establishes strategic action plans, roadmaps, sales initiatives, etc.
    • Guides and supervises the sales team within the assigned region.
    • Defines key performance indicators to assess team performance and provides constructive feedback and support.
    • Fosters robust relationships with distributors.
    • Maintains a commercial focus, capable of outlining short- and medium-term strategies to achieve and exceed company objectives.
    • Sets targets in collaboration with distributors.
    Skills and Competencies
    • Exhibits a strong entrepreneurial mindset, coupled with solid business analytical skills (basic financial acumen, performance evaluation, and KPI tracking).
    • Demonstrates comprehensive market knowledge, understanding the unique characteristics of each area within the region. Basic marketing insights (customer and market segmentation) are beneficial.
    • Possesses a deep understanding of the agricultural landscape, recognizing the interconnections among all stakeholders (farmers, distributors, retailers, extension officers, etc.).
    • Grasps the operational mechanisms of distributors: distribution systems, organizational structures, inventory control, cash flow management, etc.
    • Holds extensive knowledge of the farming sector: general agronomy, agricultural practices, and industry challenges.
    • Exhibits strong leadership and team management capabilities, fostering a collaborative spirit and continuously supporting team members in their endeavors.
    • Maintains a commercial orientation, adept at formulating strategies to meet and surpass company goals. Collaborates with distributors to set objectives.
    • Adapts communication style effectively to suit various audiences. The role involves close collaboration with key stakeholders in the region (distributors, farmers, key influencers, NGOs, etc.).
    • Proficient in MS Office and comfortable utilizing various tools (CRM) aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
    • Fluency in English and Afrikaans is essential.
    POSITION AND AREA:
    Regional Manager position available.

    Desired Experience & Qualification
    REQUIRED EDUCATION:
    BSc in Agriculture or Business
    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
    4-8 years of experience in the agricultural field.
