    Description

    Compliance Officer Role in Financial Services

    The role involves delivering quality compliance and risk management services to clients at a regional level.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Deliver effective compliance and risk management services to clients.
    • Ensure adherence to compliance requirements dictated by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA).
    • Maintain and grow the company's Eastern Cape client base through marketing services.
    • Develop and implement compliance frameworks for clients.
    • Provide high-quality, personalized reports to clients.
    • Conduct post-monitoring feedback sessions with clients.
    • Maintain accurate records as required by the business.

    Required Qualifications and Experience:

    • Matric certificate or equivalent.
    • Tertiary Diploma or Degree in Legal/Accounting/Financial is essential.
    • FSCA-recognized qualification in compliance is advantageous.
    • Registered Category I (Category II if possible) Compliance registered Officer with the FSCA.
    • Minimum 5 years' experience in compliance or risk management within the financial services industry.

    • Highly organized, good at multi-tasking, and able to deal with people at all levels.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

    Work Environment:

    Port Elizabeth or East London offices.
