- In addition to production standards this person also plays a significant role in the upskilling of other more junior staff in the same field and acts as a point of escalation for difficult cases (complex cases are usually referred to this individual (i.e. cases that could has the potential of causing brand damage).
- This role may include contact with external parties such as clients / industry bodies etc.
- As part of their daily function, they would often get involved in the resolution of complaints, enquiries and disputes.
- Although they may be required to act as an expert resource on major projects, this is not the primary function of the role.
- The incumbent in this role will also be required to compile statistics and develop reports that can be used for management decision-making.
- Daily trades capturer and checker/reviewer, bank mark-ups and reconciliations
- Executing rebalance and transitions Local and Offshore
- Compiling FICA packs and keeps packs updated.
- General Controls and eliminate risk in operations processes.
- Setting up new Clients, Investment Managers funds and Solutions
- Daily, monthly, quarterly and annually reports.
- Relevant degree
- +5 Years' experience in an asset management or investment management operations environment
- Multi-Manager operations experience would be advantageous.
- Coordination and implementation of complex client and asset instructions
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to apply critical thinking skills is essential
