About the role
We're looking for a talented and passionate Student Success Advisor to join us on a
maternity cover contract.

As a Student Success Advisor, you will empower students to excel in the dynamic field of UX and UI design.

You'll especially leverage your knowledge of UI design principles to guide and assist students in grasping essential concepts and honing their skills.

From providing personalised guidance to evaluating student projects, you'll be at the forefront of fostering a supportive learning environment.

Additionally as part of the Student Success team, you will play a part in enabling course enhancements and improvements, providing feedback to the Product team for action.

Responsibilities:

• Assist new students in familiarising themselves with the course structure, tools, and resources.
• Evaluate student projects according to established criteria, providing constructive feedback to help students improve their skills.
• Offer guidance and support to students, helping them navigate challenges and overcome obstacles in their learning journey.
• Show empathy and patience towards students from diverse backgrounds and skill levels. Your understanding and supportive approach will help them overcome challenges and succeed in their learning journey.
• Collaborate with the product team and course developers to identify areas for improvement and enhancement in the course and learning materials.
• Assist the Student Success Team in mastering UI best practices, techniques, and tools while offering feedback on student coursework.
• Stay current with the latest trends, techniques, and tools used in UI design, including software, plugins, and resources.

About you:

• Strong expertise in UI design principles, with a deep understanding of usercentered design processes.
• Extensive experience using Figma for design prototyping, collaboration, and workflow management.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a designrelated field, eg, UX design, graphic design etc.
• Passion for UI design and a commitment to staying current with industry trends and best practices.
• Genuine desire to assist individuals in achieving success in their coursework while offering compassionate support.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently with mínimal supervision.
• Serious about your work, but not so serious about yourself.
