Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our team in Parow.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
General Ledger Reconciliation: Conduct regular general ledger reconciliations and manage the month-end closing process.
Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, including VAT, payroll, and income tax filings.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities to support business growth.
Variance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis to support decision-making and improve financial performance.
Audit Coordination: Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure seamless execution.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records and document processes and controls.

Required Skills:

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
Software Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Communication: Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders.
Collaboration: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Organizational Skills: Organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks.

Qualifications:

Degree: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Certification: Professional certification (e.g., SAIPA, SAICA) preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial accounting.
Knowledge: Knowledge of IFRS and South African tax regulations.

Salary R500,000 - R700,000 per annum
