No one understands the Art of Wellbeing quite like our Spa team Librisa Spa gives guests an authentic African Spa experience, using sublime products We are looking for a Spa Manager with a strong commitment to excellence who will uphold our high professional standards, enhance our guests' experience and support our wonderful Spa Team.


  • Plan, direct and coordinate the daytoday operations of the Spa to ensure the highest level of service is provided to the guests.
  • Responsible for supervising the daytoday operation of the Spa.
  • Planning and maintaining of operational supplies.
  • Planning staff schedules/leave plans so they do not interfere with revenue targets or peak seasons.
  • Assist with therapist duties and coverage when operationally required, to ensure revenue targets and guest requests are met.
  • Establish the Spa's financial business plans for the year in liaison with the Hotel Manager and the Financial Controller concerning monthly revenue and expenditures.
  • Ensure the department's operational budget is in line and that all costs are strictly controlled without any compromise on brand standards.
  • Ensure Spa facilities are operating efficiently to achieve the highest possible revenue and profit.
  • Controlling expenditure which is crucial in increasing productivity yet not compromising on product or service standards.
  • Conduct daily briefings and monthly operational meetings for entire team.
  • Monthly goal setting and actively interacting with all departments on a regular basis as part of the goal.
  • Identify and plan training needs in liaison with the Learning and Development Manager.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations, cleanliness and maintenance of the Spa and gym equipment.
  • Continuously be in touch with guests to receive first hand feedback regarding their experience.
  • Attending relevant hotel meetings as and when required.
  • Ensure maintenance of inventory of supplies and products.
  • To establish a sales & marketing plan in liaison with the Marketing team.
  • To innovate with new ideas specific to the spa resulting in guest satisfaction, enhancing guest experience and increasing guest capture ratio.
  • Monitor stock levels and purchases of all retail products offered at the Spa.
  • Cocoordinating the procurement of new supplies and products for all retail products offered at the Spa.

Requirements:


  • One or more of the following qualifications CIDESCO, ITEC, or SAAHSP
  • Minimum 5year proven experience in a management position in a Spa
  • Experience in a luxury hotel advantageous
  • Strong Leadership, team, and communication skills are essential
  • Knowledge of cost analysis, financial management, and budgeting techniques
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate across all levels
