    Department of Old Testament and Hebrew Scriptures (OTL) / Department of New Testament and Related Literature (NTL) / Office of the Deputy Dean

    • Provide management, secretarial, project administration, event management and administrative support to the two departments and the Office of the Deputy Dean.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Office management and general office routine.
    • Financial management and research output.
    • Student and human resources administration.
    • Liaison with faculty stakeholders.
    • Document management and coordination.
    • Arrange travel and accommodation for faculty staff.
    • Diary/calendar and events management.

    Requirements:

    Minimum Requirements:

    • National diploma in office administration or related field.
    • Three years' experience in secretarial and administrative functions, including experience in senior management at a higher education institute.

    Alternative Requirements:

    • Grade 12.
    • Five years' experience in secretarial and administrative functions, including experience in senior management at a higher education institute.

    Added Advantages and Preferences:

    • Bachelor's degree in office administration or related field.

    Required Competencies:

    • Ability to work effectively in a technological environment.
    • Knowledge of filing systems, database administration, diary and time management, and relevant procedures.
