Financial Planner: Reporting -
Johannesburg

Duties:

***-
Reviewing cross functional financial accounting functional data and provide insightful analysis to enable transactional and process optimisation
***:
-
Identification of opportunities to eliminate process inefficiencies within the department and implementing solutions that drive continuous process improvement
***:
-
Preparation of reporting packs for the various stakeholders on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
***:
-
Supporting financial accounting system enhancement projects to improve the efficiency and effectiveness across the department
***:
-
Preparing and reporting on process compliance across financial accounting, including but not limited to internal policies, processes, SOX, IFRS, internal and external audit as well as other SA regulatory bodies
***:
-
Identifying and communicating best practice opportunities for implementation
***:
-
Attending to stock counts and ensuring compliance to hard close and year end procedures
***:

Assisting with ad-hoc activities within the department

Qualification and Experience:***-
BCom Honours
***:
-
CA(SA) / CIMA would be advantageous.
***:
-
4 year operational finance experience.
***:
-
Previous experience in managing a complex reporting function an advantage.
